Location
Poppy’s on the Lagoon is set on the shores of Erakor Lagoon and purpose designed to take advantage of the cooling breeze of the SE trade winds. Enjoy a poolside snack or famous Poppy’s banana pancake at your leisure from the Banana Leaf Cafe. The lagoon provides safe waters for swimming and water sports, and the gardens have been designed to show off a wide range of tropical plants. It is hard to believe when relaxing at Poppy’s on the Lagoon that it is only a 15 minute walk (or a 2 min bus or taxi ride) to Port Vila’s charming town centre. Free use of DVD and book library, BBQ hut, kayaks and canoe.

Accommodation
Poppy’s on the Lagoon offers a wide range of deluxe 4 star accommodation. With our bungalows located in the adults only part of the resort, and our villas and suites scattered by the family pool, there is something to suit everyone and all budgets. All accommodation is fully self contained and there is daily maid service so you need not worry about a thing.

Our Lagoon view Studios offer uninterrupted views of Erakor lagoon from the private balconies. Comfortable Queen bed or Twin share, perfect well priced rooms with kitchenette private bathroom and lovely breezes year round.

Our Garden View Bungalows with their high wooden ceilings have their own kitchen, dining and sitting areas with a private patio. Luxuriously furnished with queen bed and situated near the adults only pool looking onto an oasis of tropical gardens. Accommodates up to 2 people.

The ultimate romantic Beachfront Spa Bungalows have been designed for couples who want to get away from it all. Luxuriously furnished with tropical décor and romantic netting over the comfortable and cosy Queen bed. Fully self contained with kitchenette, dining facilities and sofa. A private spa with views over the lagoon adds the perfect touch. Accommodates up to 2 people.

The 2-Bedroom Lagoon Suites have spacious living and dining areas, kitchen, bathroom and private balconies overlooking one of the pools and all with views of the lagoon. Accommodating up to 4 people in 2 Queen beds or 1 Queen & 2 Single beds.

The 3 Bedroom Beachfront Villas are full sized houses in prime beach position (only 2 steps from the white sand). They have three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large kitchen, dining and lounge area. Huge verandas are positioned right on the beach overlooking the beautiful lagoon. Can accommodate up to 6 people in 2 Queen beds & 2 Single beds.

The 3-bedroom Lagoon View Villas are exactly the same as the Beachfront Villas, but located higher up in the resort with stunning views over the lagoon. Enjoy the use of a private thatched bure for outside dining or star gazing.

Dining & Entertainment
The very popular onsite Banana Leaf Cafe creates delicious light meals to order for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The fresh banana pancakes are now famous, as are the home made burgers. There are also a large number of restaurants and cafes within walking distance or a 2 minute taxi ride.

Activities
Every Tuesday night is our Poppy’s Island BBQ night, a casual and popular night for guests get togther, make new friends and sample local food with terrific beef or chicken BBQ and enjoy entertainment provided by our local string band. Honeymoons
Poppy’s on the Lagoon has set aside 6 of its bungalows (2 Garden Bungalows and 4 Beachfront Spa Bungalows) in a quiet child free setting with dedicated adults only swimming pool. Perfect for the "romantic" couple.

Weddings
Intimate weddings can be organised at Poppy’s on the Lagoon. The ceremony can be performed on our small beach side island (decorated with flowers) with the lagoon as the backdrop or anywhere in the garden you prefer. We can cater from our Banana Leaf Cafe or help you arrange the reception at the location of your choice. Ask about out wedding/honeymoon package.

Families
Poppy’s on the Lagoon offers the perfect solution for families on holiday in Vanuatu. This lagoon side resort provides a safe yet fun environment for families to interact, and the spacious self contained accommodation allows for all the convenience of a "home away from home". As well as the lagoon and the family swimming pool to keep the children entertained, there are also a wide selection of children’s videos and a climbing gym & cubby house for the smaller children. Whilst we do not have a kids club, our staff love the opportunity to baby sit - so parents can get away for a tour or have a special night out together if they wish.
